Why work on diversity and inclusion?

Providing an inclusive place for diverse talent is not only important from a moral and ethical perspective, but also important for employee well-being, innovation and productivity.

Indeed, numerous studies and statistics show that inequality in the workplace is still present. The pay gap between women and men is 14%, there are more CEOs in the Netherlands named Peter than there are women, job applicants with an Arabic-sounding name are about 40% less likely to succeed than someone with a Dutch name, and so on. That has to change. The question now is how? How do we get past diagnostics and start doing it?
