Years of cooperation between Hekkelman and Kyden
We are Hekkelman Advocaten in Nijmegen. A full-service office with over 55 lawyers, supported by an experienced secretariat and staff department. A total of 100 employees work for us. Hekkelman has various areas of expertise in house, divided over four different sections: Government & Real Estate, Corporate Law, Persons and Family Law and Labor Law. Our main clients are government agencies and entrepreneurs.
Working together on the Hekkelman Academy
Our partnership began many years ago with Kyden's predecessor, Dialogue. We once joined Dialogue because they are a well-known provider of training within the legal profession. Within Hekkelman we have had our own Hekkelman Academy for several years now. With the Hekkelman Academy we annually offer training courses in areas such as writing skills, commercial skills, intervision, a pattern course, and so on. We do this in cooperation with Kyden.
Skills training for all employees
As mentioned above, we have been taking skills training courses from Kyden (formerly Dialogue) for many years. We recently asked Kyden to put together a two-day Stress Agility training for us. Dealing with work pressure and preventing (long-term) stress is a topical and important theme, also within Hekkelman. Given the importance of prevention and vitality, all our employees participate in this training.
Meanwhile, everyone has attended the first part of the training. The goal of the first part of the day was to gain insight and practical tools in; recognizing stress, the positive and negative effects of stress, the importance of recovery and discovering what gives you energy in your work.

In the second part, colleagues will discuss with each other what is going well and what could be improved in the cooperation regarding work pressure and stress. The meeting concludes with a brainstorm and joint action plan.

We have now completed the first part of the Stress Agility training. It has been well received by our employees. Evaluations show that on average they give the training an 8. Some comments from participants:
- 'It is a nice, interactive training in which you become (even) more aware of (recognizing) stress stimuli and the importance of (planning) recovery moments.'

Customized training
Kyden thought carefully about the content of the training beforehand. As a result, it was perfectly tailored for our office. Employees recognize themselves in the examples, which increases recognition and awareness.
